Welcome to our school. We are a traditional kung fu school based in Bristol and Portishead offering quality martial arts instruction to adults and children of all levels of ability. Our aim is to teach this authentic and highly respected kung fu system in an open and friendly way to ensure maximum  enjoyment and rapid progress for all our students.

About Mousavi Kung Fu Academy
Our school was established by Sifu Mike Mousavi in 1998.  Since that time, we've had various classes in many different areas of Bristol.  In 2006, we moved all our classes to a central and well equipped training venue based at The City Academy, Russell Town Avenue, Bristol.  This venue offers our students an excellent opportunity to train at a start-of-the-art facility. This year we are starting a new class in North Somerset for children between the ages of seven and fourteen.  These classes are held at The Trinity School, Marjoram Way, Portishead.

How to join

You can attend two introductory classes for £10 or if you prefer you can come and watch a session before taking part.  This allows you to see if our school is right for you and us to assess if you are right for the school.  Your instructor will give you feedback and confirm if your application to join our school has been successful.  You can then join our school by paying your tuition fees by standing order at the beginning of each month and attending your classes on a regular basis.

To book your place on one of our introductory courses, please call us at the above number or email info@mousavikungfu.co.uk stating your name, contact details and which sessions you would like to attend.  Please also wear loose clothing and trainers to your classes and bring a small bottle of water with you.  We look forward to seeing you at one of our classes soon.
